Vanity and pride are different things, though the words are often used synonymously. A person may be proud without being vain. Pride relates more to our opinion of ourselves, vanity to what we would have others think of us.
-Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

I think it is so difficult for someone to have that unbreakable confidence in themselves. It is such a vital and important thing, to have that pride and respect for yourself as a whole person, not vanity, just that confidence that will help you believe in yourself & tackle life and its many obstacles.
Its hard to accept yourself, your whole self. Not just the pretty hair, or the great sense of humor, but the things that we classify as flaws, both outside and inside.
I struggle with it, and i know so many other do too.

So heres to gaining that repect and finding that strength within yourself.

thanks to those who took the time to read all of this. haha i know theres alot but i felt that i needed to say it
